Meet the Team
Peter Mackenzie
owner, north east bathrooms
Peter Mackenzie is the owner of North East Bathrooms and the project manager on all works. He dug his first sewer as a 14 year old working for his family plumbing business and has twenty years’ experience in his own landscaping business.
During this time he has developed a broad range of skills that are foundational to his service and quality ethos at North East Bathrooms, and he takes pride in his ability to provide honest and reliable project management for his clients. Peter launched North East Bathrooms in 2021, after spending four years at Striking Bathrooms–an extended family business–where his passion and natural ability in bathroom renovations were highly regarded. Now in his own business, Peter has plenty of scope to help people design, build or renovate and enjoy quality bathrooms in their own homes.
Peter is an active member of his community and enjoys coaching the local basketball team.

Adam is a qualified electrician and registered electrical contractor with more than 10 years experience. He specialises in all aspects of domestic electrical work and is a great fit for North East Bathrooms, working harmoniously to deliver on customer’s needs. Adam services all areas of the North East, 24/7. In his downtime, Adam can be found MTB riding, waterskiing or tinkering on his beloved Monaro.

Tiler
Stefano Marando, our trusted Tiler, started his journey in Italy over two decades ago before bringing his expertise to Australia in 2016. Stefano is a versatile craftsman who tackles all types of tiling projects, from intricate mosaics to expansive stone tiles. His impressive credentials include an Italian technical diploma and Australian certificates in tiling and waterproofing. Stefano effortlessly meets the demands of North East Bathrooms' diverse clientele.
