Bulleen

Manningham Road

Our brief for this bathroom was to improve the use of space and create a modernised feel. This medium size project was the main (and only bathroom) in an existing apartment so it needed to be highly functional. In this project we have installed a series of pretty niches to make the most use of available wall space and provide interest from a design perspective, and we have fixed additional hidden cabinetry behind the mirrors. This client was thrilled with the improved useability and storage solutions we suggested.

James Road

A simple rejuvenation to bring a family bathroom back to life. This bathroom is mostly used by the two children of the household and has been designed to meet their needs. We were able to install some much needed simple and effective additional storage solutions with the addition of a mirrored cabinets above the vanity and we created a contemporary colour scheme that looks great and is easy to keep clean.

This master ensuite in the family home had not been used for years due to a shower leak. We started this remodel project with a complete plumbing refit and attended to the water leaks making sure everything under the floor and in the walls was updated and waterproofed to code. This total remodel meant we were able to start over with design and layout and bring this tired space back into use, and into current times. We included a bank of mirrored cabinets to significantly increase storage options and bought this ‘dead’ space back to life, adding to the value of the home and convenience for the family.

Heidelberg

Berkley Avenue

This bathroom renovation was part of an entire house renovation and had us working in with a range of different trades across the project. This larger family bathroom got the full treatment from the ground up creating a workable and delightful space that coped with the morning rush in the family, and yet equally was a delightful space for a little R&R in the evening. A unique feature of this bathroom is the inclusion of curved mirrored cabinets – a special request from the client that provides a striking contrast to the straight lines of the vanity and gives this bathroom its own sense of style.

When it was time to upgrade this second bathroom, the client was interested in exploring some bolder design elements that helped to create a greater sense of space. We suggested and installed these large format tiles laid floor to ceiling (tiles measured 600mm x 900mm), which created ‘long lines’ in the bathroom adding to the illusion of height and width despite the compact space. Stunning features really bought this bathroom to the next level.

Clifton Hill

Hilton street

This bathroom is located on the first floor of the home and featured a loft-style design with a slanted ceiling and lots of angles to work with. We tackled an ongoing leaking shower issue and updated the plumbing and waterproofing. This client wanted a completely updated look that made the most of the sites unique slanted ceilings and walls. We created and installed a stunning feature tile effect running across the floor and continuing up one wall, and generally modernised the look and function of this unique space.

The renovation of this small second bathroom was well overdue as the family had been living with an incomplete original bathroom for many years. We bought this relatively small space back to life with a modernised bathroom renovated with industrial flair. Colour choices and the careful selection of fittings added to the theme in this small space for extra impact.

This existing family bathroom, although functional, was overdue for an update and the client wanted to create more space. We increased the footprint of this bathroom by removing an existing wall that separated the toilet, revamping the layout and including the toilet in the new ‘open’ design. This created a significant increase in available floor space, which we elevated with clever design choices. Floor-to-ceiling wall tiles provide a seamless integration between surfaces, with a stand alone ceramic bathtub and functional timber cabinetry completing the look. Additional lighting creates a relaxed feel for a spa-like effect.

Watsonia North

Middleton Street

The brief for this renovation of a family bathroom was to create more space and improve the functionality. The removal of an unused, and therefore unnecessary, bathtub gave us plenty of options for redesigning a more efficient use of space and to incorporate a much-needed toilet into the design. An update to all the cabinetry and retiling of all surfaces has created a contemporary bathroom, with loads of natural light and easy to clean surfaces.

The brief to fix a leaking shower in this rental property bathroom was an opportunity to update the design without over-capitalising. We removed the offending shower and did a complete remodel with floor to ceiling tiling and frameless glass shower screens, giving this bathroom an overhaul that added to the property value and amenability. The colour palette is contemporary and warm with additional under sink storage, and improved ventilation and natural light adding to the longevity of this investment.
